Babatunde Set Reap Improved Contract Package At Qatar SC

Qatar SC are ready to reward Super Eagles attacking midfielder, Michael Babatunde, with a new improved contract package following his brilliant debut season at the club.

The 2014 World Cup star is the highest scoring Nigerian player in the  outgoing season in Europe, outscoring the trio of Kayode Olanrewaju 22 goals, Henry Onyekuru 22 goals and Anthony Nwakeame 18 goals.  Babatunde's resurgent form has also seen Qatar SC turn down offers from two European teams who were interested in  taking the 23 year old on loan ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Babatunde also revealed that he has been revitalised by his new found form for his club and will be ready to return to the Super Eagles if given a chance.‎
"I had a good season, but it's not enough to have a good season and be left out of your national team," he began in an interview.
"I'm happy we gained promotion, but I want to build on that form so I can get a chance to represent my country.
"I have been approached by several teams, but I want to make a decision that will boost my chances of making a return  to the team."
