Wolves Look To Set Up Tough Competition For Ikeme, Targets Top Ipswich Keeper

Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme's number position at Wolverhampton Wanderers could be under threat as the club is reportedly eyeing a move for Ipswich Polish shot-stopper, Bartosz Bialkowski in the summer.
Ikeme, 30, has been out of action since late March after sustaining an injury in training when the Super Eagles were preparing to face Senegal in a friendly in London.
He made 31 appearances for Wolves in the recently concluded English Championship season which has gone into the playoffs (Wolves finished 15th).
According to Ipswich Town News, the 29-year-old Bialkowski who was named the Ipswich Supporters Player of the Year for the second successive season last month, revealed in March that a number of clubs made enquiries regarding his availability during the January transfer window.

Bialkowski, who has a year left on his contract at Ipswich who have an option to keep him for a further season, said recently that he and his family were very happy at Ipswich but admitted he having ambition to play in the Premier League.
