AFCON Qualifier: 21 Eagles In Uyo Camp; Echiejile, Omeruo, Musa Expected

Super Eagles senior players Elderson Echiejile, Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa will join up with the rest of the squad on Tuesday ahead of Saturday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.

According to the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles  @NGSuperEagles,  21 players have arrived at the team's Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo camp  in preparation for the encounter.
 The handle also posted series of videos of the Super Eagles players sweating it out on the treadmill ahead of their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Tuesday.
 The players include Ogenyi Onazi, Dele Alampasu Chidozie Awaziem, Tyronne Ebuehi, Henry Onyekuru, Victor Osimhen and Maroof Youssef.
 "21 players in camp, 3 to join on Tuesday. Expected are Elderson Echiejile, Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa," the tweet states.
 "Straight to serious business after arriving in Uyo. Our players are sweating it out already. 
 "Kelechi Iheanacho must be able to score goals with his head no matter where he finds himself."
 Ahead of the Super Eagles clash with the Bafana Bafana on Saturday, the three-time African Champions have not lost a game under Gernot Rohr and will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to nine games having won six and drawn two in their last eight matches.
