We must win our home games to get back on track- Akwa United’s Ifeanyi

Akwa United midfielder, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has said that the team’s victory against Katsina United at home on Sunday, coupled with their 2-0 win over Wikki Tourists in last Wednesday’s delayed match, is a good step in the right direction for the club. According to him, the club really need to win all their home games and try and get some points on the road if they must achieve their ambition for the season.
Ifeanyi told visionfm sport that their goal for the season is a morale booster for them as they try to perform better anytime they remember they need to achieve it.

“Beating Katsina United, coupled with our win over Wikki Tourists, is a good step in the right direction for us because we really need to win all our home matches and try to get some points away if we must achieve our ambition for the season,” he said.
