CAFCC: Rivers United Captain Austin Rues Own Goal In Home Defeat To Club Africain

Rivers United captain, Festus Austin, is rueing the own goal he conceded in the club's home defeat to Club Africain in their CAF Confederation Cup matchday-5 game at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Port Harcourt Sunday evening, but affirms that the team will not give up on their chances of advancing beyond the group stages."It was just a bad moment for me, but that is football. I'm not happy scoring two own goals in the group stages, but I have to move on," Austin said ruefully. "There's one more match for us to play in the group .  We will give our best  when we play FUT Rabat and hope the result of the Club Africain versus KCCA favours us," Austin said with optimism.

The Pride of Rivers will need to defeat the Moroccans away to stand a chance of advancing beyond the group stages.
