CAFCL: CAF Appoints Four Nigerian Referees To Handle Al Ahly Vs Coton Sport



Confederation of African Football referees committee has announced that Nigerian official Ferdinand Udoh will take charge of the 2017 CAF Champions League Group D clash between Al Ahly of Egypt and Coton Sport of Cameroon in Cairo, Egypt on the 8th of July at the Borg El-Arab Stadium.
Udoh will be assisted by his compatriot, Abel Baba, as assistant referee 1. Sani Usman and Basheer Salisu all from Nigeria will serve as assistant referee 2 and fourth official respectively.
President of Nigeria Referees Association, Tade Azeez, who revealed this urged the quartet to showcase class and perfection to sustain the tempo and attract more patronage from the Confederation of African Football, CAF and FIFA.
"I wish the country's ambassadors best of luck," he said.
"It's a new dawn of the heartwarming fortunes at the international level 
Al Ahly currently sit third with with eight points must win Coton Sport by at least two goal and hope group D leaders Wydad Casablanca beat Zanaco in Morocco.
