CHAN Qualifiers: Benin Captain Seibou Expects Tough Match Vs Nigeria, Calls For Hard Work

Benin Republic captain, Mama Seibou, says he expects a difficult game for his side when they face the home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Final Round of the qualifiers for the 2018 CHAN,

Benin edged Togo 7-6 on penalty shootout in the second leg, First Round qualifiers in Cotonou on Sunday. The game ended 1-1 withaggregate score at 2-2.
Reacting to the win against Togo and their next game against the home-based Eagles, Seibou said it's only hard work that will see them overcome coach Salisu Yusuf's side.
"The win against Togo now means back to work as soon as possible because Nigeria is not a small team," Seibou told Benin Football Federation official website.
"We are happy to qualify (for the final qualifying round) in front of our fans. It did not happen as planned, but we are happy to get there."
"I encouraged the team. I knew that as long as it is not over yet (penalty shootout), nothing is done. And that's what helped us to qualify."
