Indonesian League: Odemwingie Fires Blanks In Madura United’s Away Draw

Osaze-Odemwingie

Former Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie's goalscoring run came to a halt as his club Madura United were forced to a 2-2 away draw against Barito Putera in the Indonesian topflight on Saturday morning (Nigerian time).
Odemwingie had been in good scoring form after finding the back of the net in his previous three consecutive games for Madura.
Nigerian-born Indonesia striker, Gregory Nwokolo was however on target as he gave Madura United the lead in the seventh minute.
Barito Putera equalised thanks to Paulo Sitanggang in the 20th minute.
In the 30th minute, Fabiano Da Rosa scored to put Madura 2-1 ahead.
But in the 89th minute, Rizky Rizal Ripora drew Barito Putera level to end the game 2-2.
The draw means Madura United are now second on 29 points in the 18-team Indonesian league table.
