Turkish Club Bursaspor Sign Troost-Ekong From Gent


Turkish Super League club, Bursaspor, have announced on their official website that Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has agreed to join the club Bursaspor from Belgian side KAA Gent on a three year deal.
"Nigerian defender William Troost-Ekong and his club in Belgium KAA Gent have agreed in principle and the player will sign a three-year contract after health check," Bursaspor announced on their website.
The 23 year old according to reports will join Bursaspor in a €2 million move upon completion of a medical later today.
Troost-Ekong will undergo a detailed blood tests; Orthopedics, internal diseases, eye, ear, nose and throat, general surgery and cardiology departments at Özlüce Facilities today. 

He will also undergo cardiac tests and radiological checks a statement on the club's official website states.
The Nigerian international joined Gent from Dutch club Groningen in 2015 but spent two seasons on loan at Norwergian side Haugesund where he was captain of the team until he rejoined Gent in January.
Troost-Ekong joins Cristian Chagas Tarouco who also completed his move today.
