Oliseh Wants Fortuna Sittard To Play Aggressive Football In Positive Way

Fortuna Sittard manager, Sunday Oliseh, has stated that his target for the club this new season is to improve on their performance of last term in the Dutch second division, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Limburg based club will host FC Dordrecht Friday evening in their league opener at the Offermans Joosten Stadion.
Oliseh steered Fortuna Sittard out of the relegation zone to finish 16th place in the Jupiler League last term. And following the recruitment of six new players, Oliseh wants his team to play ‘aggressive football in a positive way’.
The former Nigerian manager told Limburg TV: “Our motive is to be much better than last season. I don’t want us to stand still.
“We have six new players in to replace 13 who were released at the end of the season, so in terms of personnel we are not where we want to be, but we have promoted some youth players to the main squad.”
“The league opener is close and every player wants to play. I love aggressive play but in a positive way, but when it gets a little out of hand you have to caution them.”
On his team’s chances of gaining promotion, the former Juventus and Ajax midfielder said: “We have to be realistic. I’ve just been on the job for seven months. Please give us some time.
“I think we owe it to ourselves to do the best, we can and make progress up the league.”
