Ronaldo Warned Neymar Against PSG move

They may have been on different sides of the most famous rivalry in world club football but it has emerged that Cristiano Ronaldo reached out to Neymar Jr to warn him off a possible transfer to Paris Saint-Germain before the deal sailed through.
The Brazilian forward was on the cusp of a mega-money move to the French capital but according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Ronaldo sent Neymar a message via a sponsor they both share.
The Portuguese reportedly told Neymar he understands his desire to escape from Lionel Messi's shadow but nevertheless he's making a mistake by joining PSG.
Ronaldo himself has been linked with a move to the French team but nothing came out of it.
Apparently his advice was not heeded as Neymar has since made the switch in a mouth-watering £196m monster transfer deal that will earn him a reported £515,000 a week.
Neymar scored more than 100 goals in four years with the La Liga club but will now wear the famous No. 10 shirt previously won at the club by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and fellow Brazilians Ronaldinho and Rai.
