African Games: Mum, Twin Sons to Represent Nigeria in Judo

The Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF) has selected 10 judokas to represent the country at the 13 African Games in Accra, Ghana scheduled for 8th to 23rd March, 2024. 

The judokas consist of five men, five women and would be accompanied by two coach.

Two times African Games bronze medallist, Franca Audu (-52kg) and 2021 African Champion, Enku Ewa (-63kg) top the list of the women’s team. Others are; Amara udeze (-57kg), Adijat Azeez (-78kg) and Sara Umar (+78kg).

The men’s judokas are Men: Michael Agbo (-60kg), Kehinde Aremu (-66kg), Taiwo Aremu (-73kg), Ibrahim abdullahi (-81kg) and Damini Micha (-90kg), while the coaches are: Oluwatoyin Ojo and Christy Aremu.

The President of Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF), Dr Musa Oshodi said the judokas are not going to the African Games for jamboree.
