Confederation Cup: Rivers United Battles USM Algiers

Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Rivers United has been handed a tough opposition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Which quarter-final draws which were conducted on Tuesday afternoon in Cairo, Egypt witnessed the Pride of Rivers being drawn against the USM Algiers of Algeria.

Rivers finished second behind Dream FC of Ghana in Group A despite securing a 2-1 win over the same team in the final group game.

The Nigerian side will host the first leg on the 31st of March at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo while the second leg will take place a week later in Algiers.
