FA Cup: Man United Edge Liverpool In Dramatic Seven-Goal Thriller To Reach Semi-final

Manchester United beat bitter rivals Liverpool 4-3 after extra-time, in a dramatic FA Cup quarter-final fixture at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United have now knocked out Liverpool for the 11th time in the FA Cup, more than any other club.

It was a game Liverpool players would be kicking themselves as they missed numerous scoring chances to kill the game off.

Meanwhile, the semi-final pairing will see United take on Coventry City and holders Manchester City will battle Chelsea.

Wilfred Ndidi was in action as Leicester City crashed out of the FA Cup following a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea.
Chelsea led 2-0 after the break through goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer.

Leicester City rallied back after the break courtesy of an own goal from Axel Disasi and Stephen Mavididi.

The Foxes were reduced to 10-men after Callum Doyle was sent off 17 minutes from time.

Chelsea however sealed their place in the semi-finals through two late goals from substitutes Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke.

Both semi-final games will be played at Wembley Stadium in Saturday 20 April and Sunday 21 April 2024.
