Nigeria Victorious In First Match At IHF Women's Trophy Intercontinental Phase

 

Nigeria's women handball team began its campaign in the IHF Women's Trophy Intercontinental Phase holding in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a 28-23 victory over Guadalupe on Wednesday.

The Coach Shittu Adewunmi Agboola tutored side started out with the determination that made them African champions in the IHF Trophy as they took the first half effortlessly with 16-9 win over Guadaloupe.

The second half was a tough and Nigeria had to really dig deep to ensure they win the match 28-23

Taiwo Babatunde was voted the most outstanding player of the match.

Meanwhile, Nigeria will play their second match against North Caledonia
